How to make a fiberglass sculpture?

Design and Model Making
Start by creating a detailed concept or sketch of the sculpture. Then make a full-size model using clay, foam, or other sculpting materials to shape the exact form and details of the sculpture.

Mold Preparation
Cover the model with mold-making materials such as silicone, plaster, or fiberglass. This mold captures every detail of the model and provides a strong cavity for forming the fiberglass sculpture.

Fiberglass Layering
Apply a layer of resin onto the mold surface, then lay fiberglass sheets or mat over it. Repeat this process several times to build up thickness and strength. Allow each layer to cure properly before adding the next.
